Obituary of John Burton Simpson
Passed away peacefully, at the Bon Air Long Term Care Residence in Cannington on Monday, April 29, 2019, at age 95. John Simpson, beloved husband of Dorothy (nee Elford). Loved father of Donna Irwin (Wayne) of Sunderland, Roger Simpson of Apopka, Florida the late Paul Simpson and the late Peter Simpson. Loving grandfather of Jason Irwin (Stacey), Candace Morgan, Darriel Broughton (Kevin) and Andrew Simpson and great-grandfather of Abbey, Ben, Sadie, Edward and Grayson. Dear brother of Lois Elford (the late Harry), Marie Wilson (the late Earl) and Grace Evans (Floyd). Special friend to Luke Morgan.
Private arrangements have been entrusted to the Thorne Funeral Home, 109 Laidlaw Street South in Cannington (705-432-2672). If desired, memorial donations may be made by cheque to Trulls Road Free Methodist Church, 2301 Trulls Road, Courtice, ON L1E 3B6.
