Tragically, Jérémy Andrew Hamilton, aged 35, passed away in Ottawa on Sunday, April 7 2019. He was an adoring husband to Victoria ‘Tori’ (Rankin), and loving father to his four boys, Payton, Hayden, Grayson, and Paul. Jérémy is going to be incredibly missed by his mother Carole Hamilton (Emond), his sister Geneviève Monsour (Hamilton), his nieces Kallia and Milla and brother-in-law Simon Monsour. He was treasured by his entire family including his many aunts uncles and cousins as well as his in-laws. He truly considered John Limebeer a father figure, and his sons Jonathan and Alan as brothers, and counted them among his family. Jérémy was a family man through and through and he loved nothing more than spending time with his wife and his boys. Road trips, family gatherings, or afternoons spent at the ball diamond, Jérémy was happiest when he was surrounded by those he loved most. With a heart as big as his, he loved his friends all so dearly and the people he cared for came from all walks of life. A service will be held for Jérémy’s family and friends on Saturday April 20, 2019 at the West Chapel of Hulse, Playfair and McGarry 150 Woodroffe Ave. (at Richmond Road) at 11:00 AM. Jérémy’s extended family, his many friends and loved ones are welcome to join the family for a celebration of his life at the Westboro Legion (391 Richmond Road) on April 20, 2019 beginning at 12:30 PM for a send-off in true Jérémy style. In lieu of flowers, Jérémy would have wished that donations be made to the Alzheimer’s Society of Ottawa in honour of his late grandmother Aurore Emond (Giroux). Jérémy was a one of a kind soul, and he has left a hole in all our hearts even bigger than his personality. He will be truly missed.
