Jeanette’s Obituary
Jeanette Vedress, 75, of Peace River, Alberta was born January 25, 1944 in Humboldt, Saskatchewan and died March 30, 2019 in Peace River, Alberta. Jeanette, daughter of Ken (predeceased) and Fern McInnes (predeceased), loving wife of Robert Vedress, passed away peacefully on March 30th in Peace River, Alberta. She is survived by her husband Robert, and their three daughters, Holly Vedress, Penny Vedress (Patrick Connellan), and Heather Vedress (Dave Beblow) all of Peace River, AB. She is also survived by two grandchildren Justin Vedress (Marilyn) of Edmonton, AB and Charleese Chmelyk of Peace River, AB. Her siblings include Elaine Solomon (Mike) of Regina Sk, Adele McInnes (predeceased), Donald McInnes (Netta) of Lethbridge, AB, Les McInnes (Susan) of Humboldt, SK, and David McInnes of Jasper, AB. Jeanette worked at Ok Economy, Sears and with the Elections but more importantly as a homemaker, mother and proud grandmother for a better part of her years. She loved camping, golf, playing cards, bingo and spending time with her family and grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Services will be held Thursday, April 4th at 2:00pm at the Chapel of Memories Funeral Home.
