Jean Miller
1923-2019
Peacefully at Hilltop Manor in her 96th year. Predeceased by her
beloved husband Ridley Miller (1996), her brothers Howard Fraser and
Bill Fraser as well as her infant daughter Marjorie (1950). Jean is
survived by her children David (Julie), Paul (Diane Walker), Peter and
Lois (Doug Allan). Jean leaves behind 17 grandchildren and 10
great-grandchildren, as well as her brother Bev (Doreen). Jean was a
longtime piano teacher and member of the Ontario Registered Music
Teachers Association, several choirs and both Lincoln Avenue United
Church and St.-John’s-on-the-Hill (Cedar Hill) United Church.
She was also Galt’s leading Avon Lady. A Funeral Service will
be held at Cedar Hill United Church, 241 Cedar St., Cambridge, on
Monday April 22, 2019 at 11a.m., with the family receiving guests one
hour prior to the service. The family would like to extend their
deepest appreciation to the wonderful, caring staff at Hilltop Manor.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Memorial Fund, Cedar Hill United
Church would be appreciated.
