1938 – 2019
Jean Elizabeth Williston, wife of Boyd Williston of Miramichi, passed away at the Miramichi Regional Hospital on April 20, 2019 at the age of 80.
Born in Escuminac, NB, on December 30, 1938, she was the daughter of the late Leslie and Mildred (MacLean) Lewis. She was a homemaker and Christian by Faith.
She is survived by her husband Boyd Williston; five daughters: Ellen Rhodes (Tim) of Halifax, NS, Laura Lee Kenny (Ed) of Minto, NB, Theresa Walls (Lorne) of Alberta, Betty Ann Williston (Bardo) of Alberta and Barbie Williston (Ron) of Moncton; six sons: Willis Williston (Judy) of Miramichi, Harrison Williston (Judith) of Miramichi, Alfred Williston (Nadine) of Manitoba, Hubert Williston (Joanne) of Miramichi, Bobby Williston (Bertha) of Miramichi and Kenny Williston (Jen) of Ontario; 22 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren; one sister Helen Taylor (Clint) of Vancouver Island. She was predeceased by her parents, son: Kevin, grandchildren: Jennifer, Kelly, John and Chad, sister: Mary and brother: John.
Visitation will be held at Adams Funeral Home Ltd., 140 King St., Miramichi on Tuesday, April 23rd from 7-9 pm and Wednesday, April 24th from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Funeral service will be held from Adams Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, April 25, 2019 at 11 am with Rev. Darel Tozer officiating. Interment will be held in the Lower Derby Baptist Church Cemetery later in the spring.
