James C.’s Obituary
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of James Carl Thompson.
Carl was born on Wednesday July 20, 1932 in Ponteix, Saskatchewan to parents Ted and Marjorie Thompson. He passed away on Monday April 22, 2019 in Peace River, Alberta at the age of 86 years.
He was predeceased by his father Ted, mother Marjorie, and wife Vivian.
He will be lovingly remembered by his children Wayne, Debbie, Lyle (Gerry), Randy (Debbie); grandchildren Shelby, Lowell, Dustin (Amy), Shanelle (Danny), Logan; five great grandchildren Dulcy, Grayson, Mackenzie, Keegan, Emma; and as well as his devoted partner Yvonne, her daughters, Monica, Maureen, Pam; her grandchildren, Monica, Ferando, Sarah, Jessie, and Maddison.
A Celebration of Life will be held from Harmon Valley Hall on Saturday April 27, 2019 at 1:00 PM.
If friends so desire, donations may be made to the Kidney Foundation of Canada and/or the Canadian Lung Association as expressions of sympathy.

The world has lost an amazing pure soul. Uncle Carl will be missed greatly but we were given much more time then were expected with him. And now he no longer suffers, I send my prayers to the family and to the heavens. We will meet again dear sweet uncle.
