Obituary of Irene White
White-Irene Odessa – 81 of Noel, passed away peacefully at home on April 25th, 2019. Born in North Noel Road, Hants County, she was the daughter of the late William and Jannie (McCulloch) Green.
Irene was always known as a woman with a kind and golden heart, she worked at Crossley Carpet Mill for over 30 years before eventually retiring. She enjoyed relaxing in the comfort of her home and being with friends . She was most generous, both with her caring, and with her love, and asking so little for herself. Irene was very proud of her role as a Big Sister to two Little Sisters (in Big Brothers Big Sisters) for many years, in Truro.
Irene is survived by her Son; Craig (Laurie) White, Brother; Tom (Rae) Greene, Sister; Eva White several Aunts & Uncles, Cousins, Nieces and Nephews.
She is predeceased by her Husband; Glen Leo White, Brother; Guy and Son Brian Glen; Special Friend; Bill
Cremation has taken place with no visitation or service by her request. A burial will be held at a later date, for friends and family.
Donations may be made in Irene’s honor, to the North Noel Road Cemetery, North Noel Road, Hants County, Nova Scotia.
