1953-2019
Imelda Allain Duclos, 65, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her
family, at the Moncton Hospital on Tuesday April 2, 2019. She was
married to Yvon Duclos. Born in Moncton, she was the daughter of
Alonzo Richard and the late Emelda Allain.
She will be sadly missed by her husband Yvon, her father Alonzo and
step-mother Eveline Richard of Sainte-Marie-de-Kent, her two sons;
Richard Allain of Saint-John, Shawn Allain (Christyne) of Fredericton,
five grandchildren; Nisha, Natasha, Chad, Max and Jessie. She also
leaves to mourn her half-brothers; Terrance Richard of New York and
Dale Andre Michel Richard of Moncton.
Imelda was predeceased by her first husband Ronald Allain.
Visitations will be held at the Notre-Dame du Mont Carmel Roman
Catholic Church Slumber Room, Sainte-Marie-de-Kent on Monday April 8,
from 1:00 pm to 2:45 pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at the
Sainte-Marie-de-Kent Church on Monday April 8, at 3:00 pm with
interment in the parish cemetery in the spring.
In Imelda’s memory, donations may be made to the
Sainte-Marie-de-Kent parish fund.
Funeral arrangements are in the professional care of Maillet Funeral
Home, Bouctouche.
