Macedo, Idolina (nee Pereira Lopes):
Passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Friday, April 26th, 2019 at Grand River Hospital at the age of 88.
Beloved wife of Norberto for 63 years.
Loving mother of Leonor (David) Weaver, Dario (Leisa) Macedo, Alberto Macedo and Alice (Terry) Griffith.
Cherished Vavo of Aaron, Caitlin, Kevin, Michelle and Vanessa, and Viza-Avo of Lexus, Bentley and Jax.
Predeceased by her parents, Manuel Rodrigues Barbosa and Adelina Pereira Lopes, and siblings, Manuel Rodrigues Barbosa and Maria Conceicao Branco. She is also predeceased by her daughter-in-law Earla.
Idolina was a kind woman who always had a big smile and hug for everyone. She will be best remembered for her generosity and the love for her family.
Idolina’s family will receive relatives and friends from 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. & 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 30th, 2019 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. Prayers at 8:00 P.M. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Our Lady of Fatima Church 300 Simeon St. Kitchener on Wednesday, May 1st, 2019 at 10:00 am. Interment at Williamsburg Cemetery.
