In disbelief and with a great sorrow we are saying farewells to Howie – a beautiful person and a gentle, beautiful soul. His child-like trust in people and kindness touched everyone he met. He would listen to and encourage everyone, and he had a lot of fun with his friends. Howie, we are already missing your voice, your contagious laughter, your generosity, your delicious meals and your positive presence in our lives.
Howie loved Alberta and Edmonton, his home city, and Alberta loved him back by giving him numerous friends from different walks of life. For over 30 years Howie worked as a meat inspector for Alberta Government doing hard work which he loved. He trained and supported numerous people who succeeded in their careers and became high class professionals.
Howie is survived by his family – Anna and Irina, and by many, many friends who loved him very much. You touched so many lives, Howie. May God bless you and give you peace. Good bye, dear friend.
Funeral Service for Howie will be on Friday, April 26, at 10:30 am at Connelly-McKinley Funeral Home in Edmonton, 10011 – 114 Street. He will be put to rest at Holy Cross Cemetery, 14611- Mark Messier Drive.
