Sherman, Helen Leone – Passed away peacefully at the Woodstock Hospital on Saturday, April 27, 2019 in her 92nd year; the same day that would have been her 73rd wedding anniversary. She missed her husband, Lorne, for many years and now she will be reunited with him. Loving mother of Darlene (Robert Clift) Cartwright, and David (Jean) Sherman. Dear grandmother of Colleen (Mike), Christine Leanne (Brad), Noelle (Ryan), Lyndsey, and Michael (Dulce). Cherished great grandmother of Sheldon, Christian, Dustin, Alyssa, Travis, Aidan, Abbey; Ashton, Makena and Seth. Proud great great grandmother of Pyper. Lovingly remembered by her sisters Norma (Marvin) Lankin and Jeanne (George) Cole. Predeceased by her husband Lorne Sherman (1996) and her grandchild Phillip (2007). Friends and relatives are invited to visit with the family on Saturday May 4th from 1-2pm at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock (519-539-0004). The funeral service will then take place at 2pm. If desired, memorial contributions to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated and may be arranged through the funeral home.
