Helen L. MacLennan
1944-2019
At the Provincial Palliative Care Home Charlottetown on
Wednesday April 24, 2019 of Helen L. MacLennan of Hunter River aged 75
years. Born in Rose Valley on March 28, 1944 daughter of
the late William T. Newsome and Mabel I. (Gamester) Newsome
Cameron. Beloved wife of Roy MacLennan. Loving mother of Gregory
(Karen) and special grandmother to Roland and Liam.
Dear Sister of Annie (Lloyd) MacLennan. Helen was predeceased
by her brother Sterling Newsome March 2nd,

Helen is also survived by brother and sister in laws, Brenda
Newsome (Sterling-deceased), Shirley Dickieson (Donald-deceased), Jean
(Laken) Lewis, Flora MacLennan (Freeman-deceased), Ruth MacLennan,
Joan (Cecil) Watts, Robert (Betty-deceased), Barbara (Albert) Weeks,
Joyce (Wayne) Coles, Barry-deceased, Brenda (David) Arsenault and
Gloria McCarville MacLennan (Allan McNeill). Also survived by several
nieces and nephews
Predeceased by father and mother in law John and Mae (Smith)
MacLennan and step father Kenneth Cameron, nephews Wade Dickieson,
Ronnie, Adam and Kevin MacLennan.
The family wishes to give a special thanks to Provincial
Palliative Care Centre for their kindness, care and
support.
Resting at the Davison funeral Home Kensington for visitation
on Friday from 4-7 p.m. Funeral Saturday in
Davison funeral home chapel at 1:30 p.m. Interment in the
Breadalbane Cemetery. Family Flowers only
