Helen Joy Watson passed away at Joseph Brant Hospital, Burlington on Thursday, March 7, 2019 in her 95th year. Predeceased by her beloved husband Dorwin Thompson Watson. Loving mother of James ‘Tac’ Watson (Mickey Dent), Jane (Michael, predeceased) Carter and Wayne Watson. Joy was a longtime member of the former Nelson United Church and member of the Nelson Women’s Institute.
Private Cremation has taken place. Friends may visit with the family at KITCHING, STEEPE & LUDWIG FUNERAL HOME, 146 Mill St. N., Waterdown on Saturday, May 4, 2019 from 10 – 11 a.m. where a Memorial Service will begin at 11 a.m.
Donations to the Alzheimer’s Society or a charity of your choice would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
