Harriet passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on April 2nd, 2019 at the age of 75. Forever and deeply loved by her children Cathy (John), Wally (Lorrie), Julia, her grandchildren Chris (Antonella), Alex (Cassy), Nicole, Tyler (Suzy), Jordan, her great-grandchildren Tessa, Kayla, Addison, Philip, Sophie, Mackenzie and Siena. Her extended family and friends also feel her loss greatly. She was finally reunited with the love of her life, Walter, who passed away in 2011. They were married for 52 years and she missed him every day. She leaves behind the second love of her life, her faithful canine companion Rosie, who she rescued from a shelter in 2015. She was pre-deceased by her parents Harry and Ethel and her sister Pat (Vince). Her family was her everything, and she was theirs. Friends may call at the Turner & Porter ‘Butler’ Chapel, 4933 Dundas Street W., Toronto (between Kipling & Islington Aves.) for visitation on Sunday, April 7, 2019 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. and on Monday, April 8, 2019 from 10 – 11 a.m. followed by a Funeral Service in the Chapel at 11:00 a.m. There will be an opportunity during the service for anyone who wishes to share memories or say a few words. Interment to follow at Riverside Cemetery. For those who wish, donations may be made to The Toronto Humane Society.
