Ginette Culbert
1967-2019
SAINT-LOUIS-DE-KENT, NB – It is with broken hearts
that we announce the passing of Ginette Culbert, 52, at her home in
Saint-Louis-de-Kent on Thursday, April 25, 2019. Born in
Saint John, NB on April 11, 1967, she was the daughter of
Aurèle Landry and Eugenie (Breau)
Landry.
She lived in Grand Bay for many years before moving to St.
Louis de Kent in 2009.
She enjoyed creating amazing gifts using her knitting,
crocheting and sewing abilities which she often generously donated to
the neo-natal among many others in need. Playing a strong
leadership role in Air Cadets, Scouts, and as a catechist, Ginette
helped to shape many young lives.
Ginette graduated from St. Vincent’s High School in
1985. She met many friends during her years at Air Canada,
Baxter Foods, and NBTel but held only a few very dear over the
years.
Ginette will always be remembered by those who grew up with
her for her love of the outdoors and camping, her generous heart, and
her thoughtful spirit. Although she could not find
peace from her pain and personal demons, we know she is
finally at rest.
Ginette will be sadly missed by her two daughters, Chantal
Shaw (Michael) of Woodstock, Erica Culbert of Fredericton; one son,
Nicholas Culbert of Victoria, BC and one grandson “baby boy
Shaw” on the way in July.
She is also survived by one sister, Renée Doyle
(Brian) of Quispamsis; nephew, Tyler; niece Teagan and many
Godchildren.
Visitation will be held at Thompson Memorial Home,
Saint-Louis-de-Kent on Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm and
Thursday from 9:00 a.m. until time of the funeral. A Funeral
Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, May 2, 2019 at 11:00 a.m., St.
Louis des Français Roman Catholic Church,
Saint-Louis-de-Kent. In lieu of flowers, donations to the
Canadian Mental Health Association of New Brunswick would be
appreciated by the family.
The family wishes to announce a Memorial Service will also be
held at St. Matthew’s Roman Catholic Church (Holy Spirit
Parish), 45 Dollard Drive, Saint John. Dates and times for this will
be available soon via the following link www.thompsonsfuneralhome.com
