McGEE, Gilbert James “Gil”
Passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 31, 2019, at Joseph Brant Hospital with his loving family by his side. Beloved husband and life long friend of the late Renate (March, 2009), loving father of Jim (Debbie), Patricia McGee, Diane Caradonna (Sam), Kathy Stanisa (Frank), and Stephen (Charlene). Cherished grandpa of Mark, Michelle, Christina, Michael, Brandon, Samantha, Liam, and Caitlin. Gil will be dearly missed by family and friends. Special thank you to the staff and volunteers of 5 North at Joseph Brant Hospital for their care and compassion. Visitation at SMITH’S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line (one stoplight north of QEW), BURLINGTON (905-632-3333), on Thursday from 12 noon until the time of a funeral service in the chapel at 1p.m. Interment to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. If desired, as an expression of sympathy, donations made to the Good Shepherd Centres would be greatly appreciated by the family.
