G Margaret Marg Spence 19442019

G. Margaret “Marg” Spence
1944-2019
G. Margaret “Marg”
Spence – 74, Truro, passed away peacefully,
surrounded by her loving family, on Tuesday, April 23, 2019, at
Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro. She was a daughter of the
late Thomas and Jessie (Rushton) O’Brien.
Marg was a loving mother and grandmother and her
grandchildren were the centre of her world. Even though she called her
children by the wrong names sometimes, we know how much she loved us
and we would joke with her about this! She enjoyed painting and loved
flowers.
Marg is survived by her children, Wayne Spence (Colleen),
Mission, British Columbia; Darrell (Jackie) Spence, Upper Stewiacke;
Paul (Amanda) Spence, North River; Angela Spence (Chris Muise), Bible
Hill; grandchildren, Amanda, Danielle, Robbie, Chad, Hunter, Charlene,
Melody, Justin; great granddaughters, Jailynn, Lily; sisters, Eileen
Alexander, Masstown; Norma Buckler, Doreen Wark, Ontario; several
nieces and nephews. Along with her parents, she was predeceased by her
sister, Doris Dickson; brothers, Chesley, Ralph, Peter Jr., Arnold,
Gerald, Leo.
Honouring Marg’s wishes, there will be no
visitation or funeral. If so desired, donations in Marg’s
memory to Diabetes Canada or Lung Association of Nova Scotia are
welcomed.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Mattatall –
Varner Funeral Home, 55 Young Street, Truro. Private messages of
condolence may be sent to the family by viewing Marg’s
