FREEMAN – Ilene B., 64, of Westfield, Queens County, passed away peacefully in North Queens Nursing Home, Caledonia on Saturday, April 27, 2019.
Born in Caledonia, Ilene was a daughter of the late Malcolm and Dora (Frail) Frail.
Ilene worked at North Queens Nursing Home for 25 years in Environmental Services. She enjoyed cooking and shopping but, most of all, spending time with her family especially her grandchildren.
Ilene is survived by her husband of 46 years, Randall; her sons Shawn (Dianna) of Westfield and Sherman (Tiffany) of Liverpool. Her grandchildren Paige, Presley, Madison (Brodie Ward) and Malcolm.
She is predeceased by her sisters Peggy Frail and Cora Lewis and her brother Melbourne.
Cremation has taken place under the direction of Chandlers’ Funeral Home, Liverpool. Funeral service will be held Friday, may3, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. in the Westfield Community Hall. Reception to follow. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery, Westfield. Family flowers only, donations may be made to The Westfield United Baptist Church, the Westfield Community Hall, Hillcrest Cemetery or to the North Queens Fire Association.
