Fred KAISNER November 17 1933 April 19 2019 (age 85)

Fred passed away peacefully at home on April 19, 2019 at the age of 85.
Fred was born in Natal, BC and was raised and lived in the Elk Valley all his life.
In his early years he worked on highway construction throughout BC and Alberta, as well as various jobs throughout the Elk Valley and finally at the mine in Sparwood as an exploration drill operator and mine custodian, retiring at the age of 65.
He met his wife Beverley Stuckert in Banff, AB while working on highway construction. They married Dec. 6, 1958 and farmed the land at their home in the Elk Valley. He loved to farm, fish and hunt. In his youth he survived a grizzly mauling while guiding for Martin Baher in 1953.
Fred was predeceased by his parents Harry and Mary Kaisner, his wife Bev Kaisner and his only brother, George Kaisner. Surviving him are his nieces and nephews.
