Fortunato Marquez, age 84, of Stratford passed away peacefully at Clinton Public Hospital on April 7, 2019. Born in the Philippines, son of the late Gregorio and Eugenia Marquez and step mother Catalina Marquez.
Beloved husband for 53 years of Manuela (Nellie) Marquez. Loving father of Marissa Marquez, Rona Marquez (Pat McCarroll) and Maricar Marquez (Don Horvath). Lolo of Jacob and Luke McCarroll, Dylan and Shannon Lauffman. Brother of Nelia Tonido (Frank), Priscilla Ilagan (Layao), Sosie Plata (Rey), Josie Fernando (Fernando), Zenaida Perez (Sonny), Almar Marquez (Randee), Angie Marquez. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by a brother Nitto Marquez
