Florence Kathleen Albers April 14 2019

It is with mixed emotions that we announce the passing of Florence Albers at the age of 97. Saddened because she will be missed so much, but relieved she is no longer suffering.
She is survived by her two daughters, Janet Randolph, and Marlene (Allan) Dionne; seven grandchildren; as well as numerous great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband, Harry in 2005; son, Keith in 1999; granddaughter, Nadine in 1985; and son-in-law Gary in 2006.
Florence was born in London, England and came to Canada as an English war bride. She married Harry Albers on October 20, 1945 and came to Canada the following year. It was quite an adjustment coming from a big city to life on the farm. Mom and Dad farmed southeast of Wetaskiwin for many years until retiring to Wetaskiwin in the 80’s. Mom enjoyed bingo, playing cards, and bowling.
A Graveside Service for family and friends will take place at a later date.
The family would like to thank the staff of the Good Shepherd Home in Wetaskiwin for their wonderful care of Mom, you are truly amazing people.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Good Shepherd Home (4702 Northmount Dr. Wetaskiwin, AB T9A 3T3) or a charity of your choice.

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Florence Kathleen Albers April 14 2019..
