Obituary of F. Jean Lakie
LAKIE- F. Jean (née Bullock) of Port Colborne passed away at Northland Pointe on Monday April 1, 2019. Beloved wife of the late Joe Lakie (2018) just short of 72 years. Loving mother of Michael (Sherri) Lakie and Trudy Johnstone, dear grandmother of Amy Lakie (Mike), Jeremy (Ashley) Lakie, Joe (Siobhan) Peazel, Tom (Kim) Peazel, Brandon (Katie) Johnstone, Matthew (Jen) Johnstone and Nick Johnstone, great grandmother of Bridget and Elaina, Sydney and Mya, sister of Reta (deceased), Ebon, Ann, Margaret, Hazel, Sonny (deceased). Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place. The Lakie family will receive visitors at the DAVIDSON FUNERAL HOME, 135 Clarence Street, Port Colborne on Thursday, April 18, 2019 from 10:30 am until the time of the Celebration of Life for Jean and Joe at 12 noon in the Davidson Chapel. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Royal Canadian Legion, Branch #56 Port Colborne Poppy Fund or the Canadian Diabetes Association.
