Obituary of Ernest George Sinclair Young
Halifax, passed away on March 28, 2019 at the QEII Halifax Infirmary. Born in West Dover, he was a son of the late Sinclair and Ruby Young.
Wiener worked in construction most of his life. He was an active member of the Spryfield Legion, Branch 152 and was an avid wrestling fan and especially liked wrestling with Charlie Martin.
He will lovingly be remembered by his children, Kimberley and Leroy (Wendy); grandchildren, Tamika “A Mika” and Christianna “Christine”; great grandchildren, Julius and Aeneas. He was predeceased by son, James; brothers, John and Thomas.
Arrangements are under the care of J. Albert Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd., 149 Herring Cove Road, Halifax, where visitation will be held on Saturday, April 6, 2019 from 10 AM – 1 PM, followed by a service of remembrance at 1PM in the funeral home chapel. Rev. Cheryl Rafuse officiating. Interment will take place at a later date.
