Obituary of Elmar Pape
ELMAR HERBERT PAPE – born November 18, 1928, passed away peacefully in his 91st year on April 4, 2019 surrounded by his family.
Elmar Pape of Pembroke, beloved wife of Alma. Beloved son of the late Herbert and Gertrude Pape of Eganville, and predeceased by sisters Doris Gitchener, Gladys McEwen & Corliss Libby. Beloved father of Ginger, Michael, Mary Jane, Lyssa, Tara (Edward) & Jason (Heidi). Beloved grandfather of Johnathon (Vicky), Andrew, Jordan (Michelin) Philip (Lynn), Scarlett (Derek), Tatyana, Eythan, Hudson, Harrison & David. Beloved great grandfather of Ella, Isabella, Sadie Grace, Olivia, Rockland, Denver, Luke & Madonna.
Elmar was loved by many for his gentle kindness and happy smile. His humbleness, strength, love, laughter, sense of humour and appreciation of life will live on in the memories and hearts of all whom he touched. Elmar’s integrity and goodness is an inspiration to us all.
The Celebration of Life, a service dedicated to the memory of a life lived with joy, will be held Friday, May 3, 2019 at the Pentecostal Tabernacle, 34 Brandon Ave, Pembroke, Ont. with a Service at 1:00 p.m., followed by a reception.
