Eileen Muriel (Grue) Leal, 88, left us on Friday, March 29, 2019 with her loving family by her side at the Pincher Creek Health Care Centre.
Born on Thursday, June 26, 1930, at Misericordia Hospital in Edmonton, Alberta, she was the daughter of Theodore Grue and Nora Alida Hansen.

Eileen and her husband Keith came to Pincher Creek from Edmonton in 1957 when Keith became employed by the British American Oil Company at its sulphur and cycling plant southeast of town. Eileen worked for ten years at two of our drug stores and was well-liked by all who knew her. She enjoyed growing flowers and loved music and had been a member of the United church choir for many years. “Watch for me, Mom. I’ll be along.”
It was Eileen’s wish that no funeral service be held at this time.
Memorial contributions for the late Eileen Leal may be made to: STARS Air Ambulance, 1441 Aviation Park NE, Calgary, AB T2E 8M7.
