Obituary for
Eileen Eva Hale
It is with much love and sadness that we say goodbye to our beloved mother and grandmother, Eileen Hale, who passed away on April 1, 2019 after a brief illness.
Eileen will be forever remembered and deeply missed by her children, Marlene McBean (Dale) and Darcy (Shirley) Hale; four grandchildren, Heather (Max) McLeod, Kevin McBean (Graham), Matthew Hale and Braeden Hale; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Eileen was predeceased by her husband, Percy; parents, Anna and Nicholas Baer; and five siblings, Art, Max, Marie, Tom and Nick.
The family would like to extend a warm thank you and appreciation to the staff on Unit 54 at the Royal Alexandra Hospital, and particularly to Dr. Kumar, for their compassion and wonderful care of Eileen. Also, heartfelt thanks and much gratitude to the caring staff of Rosedale on the Park where mom lived these past seven years.
Prayer Service Wednesday, April 10 at 7:00 p.m. at St. Joseph’s Basilica, 10044 – 113 Street, Edmonton.
Funeral Mass Thursday, April 11 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Joseph’s Basilica. Mom will be cremated and then laid to rest at Holy Cross Cemetery, Edmonton later this spring.
Always loved, never forgotten, forever missed.
