Obituary for
Edoardo Canino
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Edoardo Canino on April 8, 2019 at the age of 89 years. Edoardo will always be remembered for his devotion to his family, his beautiful warm smile, the laughter in his eyes and his dedication to living life to the fullest. Left to mourn his loss is his wife of 65 years, Concetta; daughter, Sandra (Luigi) Palazzo; grandchildren, Mario, Marco and Daniela; one sister, Mafalda Cosentino; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Predeceased by his daughter, Francesca; his parents, Francesco and Francesca; his siblings, Francesca (Antonio) Carrozza, Nicola (Laura) Canino, Pasquale (Angelina) Canino and Rosetta (Alberto) Caramignoli; and brother-in-law, Salvatore Cosentino.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to his care attendants and physicians for their extraordinary care and compassion.
Prayer Service Friday April 12 at 8:00 p.m. at Santa Maria Goretti Roman Catholic Church, 9110 -110 Avenue, Edmonton.
Funeral Mass Saturday, April 13 at 10:00 a.m. at Santa Maria Goretti Roman Catholic Church, Reverend George Puramadathil CFIC officiating with entombment in Holy Cross Mausoleum. In lieu of other tributes, donations can be made to a charity of your choice.
