It is with heavy hearts that the family announce the peaceful passing of Juanita “Doreen” Punchard at Kingston Health Sciences Centre on Sunday, April 21, 2019 in her 92nd year. Beloved mother of Linda Ueberschaer (Rolfe) and Judith Young (Steve Rands). Dearly loved grandmother to Steven Ueberschaer, Nick and Laura Young. Predeceased by her husband Arthur Punchard (2012) and by her parents Wellington and Grace Green. She was a resident of Arbour Heights Nursing Home in Kingston for 7 years and will be sorely missed be the residents and staff there. Doreen formerly resided in Adolphustown most of her life. The family will receive friends at the HANNAH FUNERAL HOME in Napanee at 123 Dundas Street West, (613-354-3341) on Wednesday, April 24 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Service in the Chapel on Thursday, April 25 at 11:00 a.m. Interment St. Alban’s Cemetery in Adolphustown. Memorial donations (by cheque or credit card) to the University Hospitals Kingston Foundation (UHKF) or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
