Obituary of Donald Metler
Peacefully surrounded by the love of his family, at Chapman House Residential Hospice, Owen Sound on Sunday, April 28th, 2019. Donald Daryl Metler, of Owen Sound, in his 97th year. Dearly loved husband of the late Eva Metler (nee Secord). Loving father of Jane Lukasik (Mark) of Owen Sound, Christine McKay and Edith Warden (Craig), both of St. Catharines. Proud grandfather of Laura, Graham (Casey 1.1), Taylor, Robert, Colin, Rosalyn, William and great-grandfather of Mikaela and Khloe. Predeceased by his parents, Arthur and Edith Metler, his sister, Mildred Metler and his son William Donald Metler.
A Family Interment in North Pelham Cemetery, North Pelham, Ontario will take place at a later date. If so desired, the family would appreciate donations to the Residential Hospice of Grey Bruce, the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Owen Sound Regional Hospital Foundation as an expression of sympathy and may be made through the BRIAN E.
