Donald Foran
Donald
Foran, 65, of Moncton, passed away peacefully at the Dr. Georges-L.
Dumont University Hospital Centre on Sunday, April 7,
2019.
Born in
Newcastle, he was the son of the late George and Marie (Whalen)
Foran.
Donnie was a
Service Technician with Fernrob Pressure Cleaning Systems and a former
Carman with CN and still attended the annual CN TODD Bowling
Tournament. Donnie enjoyed his time going to Storms Bar, where he will
be sadly missed by the many friends he made there. He will also be
remembered for hosting the annual Foran Family Washer Toss
tournament.
Donnie will
be sadly missed by his wife, Mona (Gallant) Foran of Moncton;
daughter, Melanie Dawn Foran (Francois); son, Denis Foran (Amanda) and
grandson, Daniel Foran; sisters, Judy Breau (Jimmy), Dodie Roper
(Alan) and Peggy Gaudet (Yvon); brother, Paul Foran (Denise), as well
as several nieces, nephews and extended family
members.
Visitation
at Fergusons Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995) on
Thursday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 pm. A Service to celebrate
and honour Donnie’s life will be held at Fergusons Funeral
Home Chapel on Friday, April 12, 2019 at 1:00 pm with Rev. Allison
Carroll presiding. Reception in the Funeral Home Reception Centre
following the service. Interment will be in Our Lady of Calvary
Cemetery, Dieppe, at a later
date.
