It is with great sadness that we announce that Diane Vivian
Lockwood of Riverview, NB, passed away at The Moncton Hospital on
April 11, 2019 following a lengthy illness. Born in Hillsborough, she
was the daughter of the late John and Wanda (Beaumont) Letterick of
Hillsborough, NB.
Diane worked for Chrysler Canada Regional Office in Moncton
for several years before retiring in 1994. Diane had a passion for
flowers and spent many hours working on her flower beds. She also
loved to travel. Together with her husband John, she enjoyed trips to
Europe, Egypt, Israel and South America, while also spending sixteen
winters in Florida.
Diane will be sadly missed by her loving husband of 37 years,
John Lockwood; sister, Bonnie Steeves (Carl) of Riverview; niece,
Tracey Steeves (Ralph); nephews, Geoffrey Steeves, Gregory Steeves
(Margaret) and their families; as well as several aunts, uncles and
cousins.
The family will be receiving relatives and friends at
Cobb’s Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 330 Whitepine Rd.,
Riverview (869-2007) on Wednesday from 1:00pm until the time of
service. A funeral service will take place at the funeral home on
Wednesday, April 17, 2019, at 2:00pm with Rev. Blair Holden
officiating. Donations can be made in Diane’s memory to
Harvest House or Friends of The Moncton Hospital.
