Dean H. Christie of Central Hainesville, NB passed away at Hospice
Fredericton on April 24, 2019. Dean was born on July 23, 1952 at
Woodstock, NB, a son of the late John and Nellie (McElwain) Christie.
He is survived by his children, Mistie Christie, Central Hainesville,
NB, Melissa Christie Carson (Jamie) and Dean Christie Jr., both of
Keswick, NB; a granddaughter, Ashlee Raine Carson; the mother of his
children, Gayle Brawn, Keswick, NB; his siblings, Charlene Christie,
Fredericton, NB, James Christie (Raylene), Saint John, NB, John (Jack)
Christie (Bonnie), Hanwell, NB, Curtis Christie (Mary Ann),
Waterville, NB, Dennis Christie (Lise), Burtts Corner, NB and Keith
Christie (Heather), Woodstock, NB; his step-mother, Kathleen Christie,
Temperance Vale, NB; three aunts, Vesta Thornton, Roselle Christie and
Gwen Christie; an uncle, Fred Christie (Alta); several nieces, nephews
and cousins.
Visiting hours will be held at Flewelling Funeral Home, 585 Otis
Drive, Nackawic, NB on Saturday evening from 6 to 8 pm. Funeral
service will be held at the funeral home chapel on Sunday, April 28,
2019 at 2 pm with Rev. Stephen Hoyt officiating. Interment at
Waterville Cemetery.
For those who wish to make a donation in memory of Dean, the family
has suggested the Waterville Cemetery, Alzheimer Society or NB Heart
& Stroke Foundation.
