Obituary of Colin Norman Estabrooks
It is with deep sadness that the family of Colin Estabrooks must announce his passing on Friday, April 26, 2019 at the Sackville Memorial Hospital. Colin passed away at the age of 64 years.
Born in Sackville, N.B. on October 10, 1954, he was the son of the late Norman Lennox Estabrooks and Pearl Olive (Chase).
Colin enjoyed music and was a great singer and guitar player. He was a cook by trade, working in establishments in Moncton for 30 years.
Colin will be lovingly remembered by his brothers, Alistair (Brenda) Estabrooks and Wayne (Brenda) Estabrooks; his sisters, Janice Thurston and Cathy Cameron, as well as by several nieces, nephews and extended family.
Besides his parents, he was pre-deceased by his sister, Sharon Norma Estabrooks.
The family wishes to send a heartfelt thank-you to Joan LeBlanc and her staff for their wonderful care of Colin.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Campbell’s Funeral Home, Sackville (506) 364-8188. In keeping with Colin’s wishes cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation or funeral service.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Colin may be made to the Sackville Memorial Hospital Auxiliary, Canadian Cancer Society or to the charity of one’s choice.
