Charles Arseneault
1946-2019
ST-CHARLES, NB – Charles Arseneault, 72, of St. Charles,
passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family at the Dr.
Georges-Dumont University Hospital Center in Moncton after a short
battle with cancer on Wednesday, April 3, 2019. He was the
son of the late Wilfred Arseneault, late Irene Daigle
(1st mother) and late Irene Goguen
(2nd mother).
Charles was a truck driver for most of his life, but could
also be called a jack of all trades. From working in the carrot
fields, to farming, making maple syrup, or being a lumberjack, he was
successful at everything he set his mind and hands to. In his spare
time, he enjoyed hunting, being in the woods and humming along to
songs playing on the radio in his truck. During his retirement, he
spent his time making maple syrup, gardening and 4 wheeling. He loved
his wife, kids and being a grandpa very
much.
He will be deeply missed by his wife, Patricia, one daughter,
Irene (Troy Allen and dog Bella); one son, Roger (Bethany Swanson);
grand-daughter, Althea Sojourner and one sister, Annette
(Louis-Philippe Léger, niece Liette and nephew Serge). He
will also be missed by his extended family and
friends.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his baby sister,
Therese.
Visitation will be held at Thompson’s Funeral Home,
Richibucto, NB on Sunday from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm, Monday at 9:00 am
until departure for the funeral. A Funeral Mass
will be celebrated on
Monday,
April 8, 2019 at 11:00 am at the St-Charles Borromée Roman
Catholic Church, St-Charles. Donations in Charles’
memory may be made to the Oncology Centre, l’Auberge for the
Oncology Centre or to the Palliative Care Unit at the Dr. George-L.
Dumont Hospital. Arrangements are in care of
Thompson’s Funeral Home, Richibucto
(523-4252).
Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Charles Arseneault 19462019..
