On April 19, 2019 Shaun Mel Harrison Cardinal of Saddle Lake passed away at the age of 26 years. He is survived by his common-law spouse, Larissa Huppie; 2 sons, Devaughn & Nolan; daughter, Alayah; mother, Twila Cardinal; stepdad, Joey Brertton; father, Jerome (Cherise) Watchmaker; adopted father, Daniel (Florence) Cardinal; 6 siblings, Kirsten Brertton-Cardinal, Terrence Brertton, Hailey Cardinal-Brertton, Terece Larocque, Garyn Larocque & Chelise Larocque; paternal grandparents, Harold & Elsie Watchmaker. Shaun was predeceased by a child in infancy; his uncle, Clinton Mel Cardinal; great-grandfather, Jerome Watchmaker Sr.; & niece, Tayah Jackson. A Wake will be held on Thursday (leaving Grace Gardens at 2:00 p.m.) & Friday, April 25 & 26 at Ayiwakes Cultural Centre, Saddle Lake. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, April 27 at 11:00 a.m. at Ayiwakes Cultural Centre, Saddle Lake.
