On April 15, 2019 Mr. Joseph Bouchard of Elk Point, formerly of Moose Lake, passed away at the age of 88 years. He is survived by 4 daughters, Micheline (Rob) Walker of Elk Point, Diane (Marc) Gareau of Edmonton, Danielle (Doug) Hay of Edmonton & Claire-Anne (Brian Dawson) Bouchard of Hay River, NWT; 8 grandchildren, Genevieve (Phil), Stefan, Joshua, Jeannette (Adrian), Erin, Julien (Shannon), Cale (Fion) & Georgia; 5 great-grandchildren, Madison, Maxim, Mason, Eva & Violet; 2 brothers, Paul (Evelyn) & Andre (Yvette); sister, Anne Marie (Jacques) Lamoureux; numerous nieces & nephews. Joseph was predeceased by his wife, Mimi; son, Jacques; daughters, Marie & Johanne; parents, Pierre & Rose Anna; siblings, Antoine Armand, Paul Eugene, Marguerite, Pauline, Therese & Clement. A Memorial Mass will be held on Tuesday, April 23 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Michael’s Roman Catholic Church, Elk Point. Reverend Father Gerard Gauthier will be the celebrant, with private inurnment in Holy Family Roman Catholic Cemetery, Bonnyville at a later date. Cremation has taken place.
