MICHALCHUK – Dr. Andrew William – MD. FRCA (c)
Passed away at Hamilton General Hospital on Wednesday April 10, 2019, in his 83rd year. Beloved husband of Natalie Michalchuk of Brantford. Dear father of Christina Michalchuk-Lucas (Steve) of Ottawa, Stephen Michalchuk (Irene) of London and Daniel Michalchuk (Amy) of New Jersey. Loving grandfather “Dido” of Zak, Benjamin, Nicholas, Alexandra and Elizabeth. Dr. Andy was known for his compassionate care as a Urologist with the Brantford General, Paris Willett and Norfolk General Hospitals. He was also known as a talented and award winning wood carver and will be fondly remembered by his peers with Kiwanis, Probus, The Grand River Choir and The Hamilton Ukrainian National Federation. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at the McCLEISTER FUNERAL HOME, 495 Park Road N. Brantford on Friday from 7-9 pm. Panachyda will be recited at the funeral home at 8 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at THE UKRAINIAN CATHOLIC CHURCH OF ST. JOHN THE BAPTIST, 92 Terrace Hill Street on Saturday at 10 am. Cremation to follow. Donations may be made in Dr. Andy’s memory to the charity of your choice. Condolences and memories may be shared with the family at www.mccleisterfuneralhome.ca
