It is with great sadness that the family of Aldea Desjardins announce her peaceful passing on Sunday, April 14, 2019 at Lakeview Pioneer Lodge in Wakaw, SK. Aldea was born on September 22, 1936 in Crystal Springs to Marcel and Stella (nee Marcotte) Turgeon. She later married Leopold Desjardins and to this union four children were born Laurence, Roland, MaryAnn and Maurice. In 1995 a life altering change was had when Aldea lost her husband. She continued on keeping busy and being involved in her community and family until Alzheimer’s took her independence and her memories away. Aldea’s memory will be forever cherished by her son Laurence (Brenda), grandchildren: Jennifer, Krista and Grant, son Roland (Claire), grandchildren Michelle, Dawn (Gary) Borle, Roland Jr.(Gina) and Kathleen (Dustin) Glover, daughter MaryAnn: grandchildren Calvin, Lisa(Clay) Kindzerski and Ryan, son Maurice (Andrea)grandchildren Cameron, Tara (Michael) Nelson and Nicole(Jordan) Crawford, 19 great grandchildren, siblings: Jerry (Clementine) Turgeon, Jean Desjardins and Carol Legault as well as numerous other cousins, relatives and friends.
Aldea was pre-deceased by her parents Marcel and Stella Turgeon, her husband Leopold Desjardins, her brother Larry Turgeon and numerous other brothers and sisters in law. A Private Family Service will be held in keeping with Aldea’s request. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.grays.ca. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Gray’s Funeral Chapel.
