Memorial Donation
On Friday, April 19, 2019, at the age of 95, our father and grandfather Albert P. Brandt passed away peacefully at the Bethesda Regional Health Centre, Steinbach, MB, with many family members at his bedside.
He was born to John U. Brandt and Katherina Brandt and lived in Manitoba all his life.
He will be missed by his children Leona (Joe), Minna, Harvey, David (Pat), Maria (Ian), Joanne (Rick), Brian (Birgit), 20 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
He is survived by three sisters. He was predeceased by one brother and two sisters.
He was predeceased by his first wife Sara Reimer in 2008, his second wife Tina Spencer in 2016, one great-grandchild, and one son-in-law.
Thank you to all the Homecare staff, Dr. Reimer and the Palliative care team, and nursing staff at Bethesda Hospital who cared for our father.
The funeral service will be held Sunday, April 28, 2019, at 3:00 p.m. at Ridgewood EMC, R.M. of Ste. Anne, MB with interment to follow at the church cemetery. Viewing will take place one hour prior to the service.
Donations in memory of Albert may be made to the Mennonite Central Committee 134 Plaza Drive; Winnipeg, MB R3T 5K9 or to the Canadian Foodgrains Bank Box 767, Winnipeg, MB R3C 2L4.

The funeral service will be held Sunday, April 28, 2019, at 3:00 p.m. at Ridgewood EMC, R.M. of Ste. Anne, MB with interment to follow at the church cemetery. Viewing will take place one hour prior to the service.
