Peacefully at her home on Wednesday April 24th, 2019 in her 81st year. Beloved wife of the late Meric Brent. Loving mother of Beatrice Bishop (Bradley), Daphne Durett (Bob), Ronald Brent (Lila) and Kenneth Brent (Maria). Dear grandmother of 10 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren. Effie is survived by her brothers and sisters Albert, Beatrice, Mary, Edith, Bob, Charlie, Stanley and Mabel and pre-deceased by 5 brothers and sisters. A private family service will held at the MacCoubrey Funeral Home, 30 King St., E., Cobourg on Wednesday May 1st, 2019 at 4 pm. with visiting from 2-4 pm. In lieu of flowers the family would like donations to Trinity United Church, 17 Church Rd., Botwood, NL, A0H 1E0. Condolences received at www.MacCoubrey.com.
