M. Joyce Campbell
M. Joyce Campbell, 86, of
Parkland in the Valley, Quispamsis, and formerly of Riverview, passed
away peacefully at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Saturday, April
27, 2019.
Born in
Kempt Shore, Nova Scotia, she was the daughter of the late Walter and
Nellie (Brown) Lake.
She enjoyed
her church and the various activities and groups; bowling, sewing,
knitting, quilting and travel. She and Jim spent most summers at their
cottage after retirement, enjoying the river and their
garden.
Joyce will
be sadly missed by her daughters, Debbie Campbell and Sandra Bowes
(Philip); son, David Campbell (Geri); precious grandchildren, Jennifer
Frye (Graham), Melissa Burgess (David) and Mitchell Bowes (Hannah);
great grandson, Mason Burgess; sisters, Betty Banks and Marg Leonnard
(Ron); sisters-in-law, Gertie Campbell (Bob) and Marg Mitchell (Len);
as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family and
dear friends and neighbours.
In addition
to her parents, Joyce was predeceased by her husband, James
“Jim” E. Campbell in May of
2010.
A Service to
celebrate and honour Joyce’s life will be held from
Fergusons Funeral Home Chapel, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995)
on Thursday, May 2, 2019 at 3:30pm. Reception in the Funeral Home
Reception Centre following the service. Interment will be held at St.
Mark’s Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Bass River at a later
date.
In memory of
Joyce, donation to a charity of the donor’s choice would be
