Obituary of Amy Malenfant
MALENFANT, Aimėe (Amy)
Aimėe (Amy) Depelteau Malenfant, 92, of Albright Manor, Beamsville, Ont passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 27, 2019. Amy was born to the late Albias and Mary Selder Depelteau on May 26, 1926 in Montreal, Que. She was married to the late Henry William Malenfant in 1946 and they lived together for over 30 years in the Montreal area before relocating to Ontario. Amy is survived by three children: Andrea Gage (Evan) of Chapin, SC; Allan Malenfant (Elayne) of Niagara Falls, Ont; and Rosemary Williamson (Harry) of Burlington, Ont. Amy is also survived by five grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and two sisters; Audrey DiPerno (Nick) and Heather (Maris) Andersons. Amy was also predeceased by a granddaughter, three brothers and a sister. Amy worked in sales for many years specializing in Fine China and Gifts. She was an accomplished hostess loving house parties with family and friends singing around the piano with Henry playing. Amy was immensely proud of her family and leaves behind many cherished memories. Her memorial service will be Thursday, May 2, 2019, 1:30-2:30pm at Bayview Crematorium, 740 Spring Garden Rd., Burlington, Ont. with interment immediately following on site. In lieu of flowers, a donation in Amy’s name to the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
