Cody was born February 15th 1990 into the loving arms of his Mom, Cathy (Catherine Ann) Gareau. The family announces his passing with sadness on Tuesday, April 23, 2019 in his 29th year. Cody will be deeply missed by his devoted mother and step father, Cathy and Bob Wickware of Maitland, his sister Shauna LaPointe (Paul Wykes) of Athens, brothers Jordan (Kendra) LaPointe of Brockville and Auston Wickware (Chelsea Conklin) of Maitland. Cody will be greatly missed by his nephews and niece, Brody, Zachary, Bentley and Ava. Cody will be forever cherished and missed by his Aunt Tam (Tammy), Uncle Michael VanBeilen of Toronto and also his Aunt Nicole Gareau (Gord Davis) of Brockville. He leaves behind many cousins and friends. Cody was predeceased by his number one supporter “Nanny” (Gayle Barkley).
Cody was a loving soul to his family. A sweet, smart and loving boy. Growing up in Mallorytown as a boy he enjoyed time in nature. During his high school time he was a member of the BCI Red Rams.
Family will gather for a private service at the Irvine Funeral Home and Chapel, 4 James St. E., Brockville. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations made to charities that support, Leeds and Grenville Mental Health and Addictions, or any Children’s services.
