Suddenly at the Kemptville District Hospital on Tuesday, April 23, 2019, Jean van Veen (nee Veenstra) of Morrisburg, age 76. Beloved wife of the late Pieter van Veen. Loving mother of Peter (Cathy) of Kemptville, Andrew (Betty-Ann) of Ingleside, Terry (Donna) of Grande Prairie and Amy Ricardo (Eufemio) of Ottawa. Dear sister of Winnifred Leblanc (Emery) of Cap-Pele, Anna Hoekstra (Allen) of Chatham, Janke de Wal of Cobden and Mattie Zandbergen (Fred) of Dixons Corners. Beppe and Grandma will be fondly remembered by grandchildren Meagan, Nathan, Kaitlyn (Andrew), David (Katie), Gregory (Evana), Emily, Joshua, Shayne, Rebeca, Samantha and great-grandchildren Riley and Naomi. Predeceased by her brother Jelle “Jim” Veenstra. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Funeral Arrangements
Friends may call at the Marsden and McLaughlin Funeral Home, Williamsburg, on Friday from 6-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held at the Williamsburg Christian Reformed Church on Saturday, April 27th at 2 p.m. Interment will be at New Union Cemetery, Williamsburg. Donations to Timothy Christian School would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
