Daisy L. MacFadyen
1921-2019
MacFadyen, Daisy Levina, 97, Truro, passed away Saturday,
April 20, 2019 in Cedarstone Enhanced Care, Truro. Born in Port
Hawkesbury, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Helen (Marsh)
Hill.
She will be missed and remembered with love by her daughter
Elizabeth “Betty” MacFadyen; son-in-law Michael Murphy and
his wife Paulette Melanson; several “MacFadyen” nieces and
nephews
She was predeceased by her husband. J. Everett MacFadyen;
younger daughter Donna L. Murphy; sister and brother-in-law Hazel and
Ralph Peeples; nephews, Edwin and Conrad Peeples.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Mattatall-Varner
Funeral Home, 55 Young Street, Truro, and also Hennessy Cutcliffe
Charlottetown Funeral Home, 33 Longworth Ave., Charlottetown, PE, C1A
7M8, where messages of Condolence may also be sent. In keeping with
Daisy’s wishes there will be no visitation or funeral
service. Cremation has taken place as requested. A graveside service
and reception will take place at a later date in Prince Edward Island.
