Obituary of Lloydia Wilda Martyn
MARTYN, Lloydia Wilda – Peacefully after celebrating her 97th birthday with her family , Lloydia Martyn died on April 18, 2019 at Trillium Villa Nursing Home, Sarnia. Beloved wife of the late Murray Martyn (1987). Loving mother of Gary & his wife Brenda, Corunna. Cherished grandmother of Sarah (Mike) and Spencer (Christine). Proud great-grandmother of Taylor, Lindsay, Christian, Wyatt and Jack. Fondly remembered by her niece’s Trudi and Sharon and her cousin Bonnie. Predeceased by her parents William & Stella Orr. We will always remember mom sitting in a window, a good book on her lap watching the river go by. A special thanks to her neighbours and friends who have been a large part of her life and to the staff at Trillium Villa for their kindness. At Lloydia’s request, cremation has taken place and a private interment will take place at Woodland Cemetery, London, at a later date. As an expression of sympathy, those who wish may make a donation to Parkinson’s Foundation, 4500 Blackie Road, Unit 117, London, ON N6L 1G5 ( www.parkinsonsociety.ca ).
