Born October 28, 1931 in Hearst, ON, David Tjart passed away peacefully on April 12, 2019.
He is survived by his children: Carol (John), Dave (Garland), and Don (Dolores); grandchildren: Jonathan (Heather) and Evan (Ryan) Petkau; Erin, Jordan (Alexis), and Elissa Tjart; great-grandchildren: Lily and Zoe Petkau, and James Tjart; siblings: Mary, Tina, and Agnes as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other family members. David was predeceased by his wife: Dagmar (nee Westcott); parents: Mary (nee Sawatzky) and Jacob Tjart and brother: Jacob. He will be lovingly remembered by his family and friends. Special thanks to the doctors, nurses and staff on Unit 7W at the Misericordia Hospital.
A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, April 26 at 1:30 pm at Beulah Alliance Church, with a Visitation on Thursday, April 25 from 6:30-8:30 pm at Connelly-McKinley Funeral Home.
