It is with great sadness that we say goodbye to our beloved Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother, Doris Dake, who passed away April 12, 2019, at the age of 86 years.
She is survived by her children, Debra (Bryan); Kathe (Bo); Bruce (Vera); Joane (Dave); Gordon; Patsy (Bruce) and Kevin (Lil), along with many adoring grandchildren and great grandchildren. Also survived by 1 sister Grace (Jake) Knoblauch and 1 sister-in-law Ruth Jensen.
She was predeceased by her husband, Patrick Dake; sons, Herb and Robert and 1 grandson Wesly Davis.
A memorial luncheon will be held at 2:00 pm, April 20, 2019 at the Fort Saskatchewan Golf and Curling Club, 9312 – 102 Street, Fort Saskatchewan, AB.
The family wishes to express their gratitude to all at Dr. Turner Lodge for the kindness, support and care shown to Doris during her stay there.
The family would also like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Rivercrest Hospice who cared for Doris during her final days. Memorial donations in Doris’s name may be made directly to the charity of one’s choice.
