MAY-POWERS, Linda Lee passed peacefully at the Trenton Memorial Hospital on Monday, April 8, 2019, age 71 years. Linda May-Powers of Brighton, daughter of the late Lewis F. May and the late Mary T. (Buchanan). Beloved wife of the late George Max Powers. Loving mother of Sean Windover (Kristi Harnden) of Cobourg, stepmother of Angela Dragt (Arian) of Brampton, and the late Christopher Powers. Sadly missed by her grandchildren, Kyle Windover, Gabriel, Quinten, and Oliver Dragt. Sister of Mary Lou Baldwin of Burlington, Reni Darlington of North York, Richard and Cathy May of Peterbrough, and Gary and Linda May of Mexico. Daughter-in-law of the late Ruth Wooll Powers Fick. Special friend of Jim Silvester of Trenton. Funeral Mass at Holy Angel’s Roman Catholic Church, 40 Centre Street, Brighton, on Monday, April 15, 2019 at 11 o’clock. Cremation with interment at Lakefield Cemetery, Lakefield, at a later date. As an expression of sympathy, donations to Ed’s Place – Northumberland Hospice Care Centre, would be appreciated by the family. Arrangements in care of the Brighton Funeral Home, (613-475-2121).
