The death of Richard Robert Cassell “Ricky” husband of Mary Hogan Cassell of Quarryville, NB, occurred in Sioux Lookout, ON, Thursday, April 4, 2019 at the age of 61.
Born in Ottawa, ON, Richard was the son of the late Joseph Giles Ernest Dupuis and Patricia Ruth Gordon.
Richard was a retired chef.
Besides his wife Mary, Richard is survived by one daughter Kimberly Ann Cassell and one son Jason Douglas Cassell both of Ottawa, ON; three sisters: Sheryl Ann Rosborough, Michelle Dupuis (Trevor) and Vicky Cassell; two brothers: Martin Cassell and Merv Lawson along with several nieces and nephews.
Richard is also predeceased by one brother Christopher and his stepfather Harry Cassell
Visitation will be held at the Father Murdock Memorial Room at Saint Bridget’s Roman Catholic Church, Renous, NB, on Thursday from 6-9 PM.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from Saint Bridget’s Roman Catholic Church, Renous, NB, on Friday, April 12, 2019 @ 10 AM with Father Dan Bastarache officiating.
In Richard’s memory a donation may be made to a memorial of one’s choice.
